City of Chandler
The City of Chandler, Arizona was founded in 1912 and incorporated in 1920. It is one of the fastest growing communities in the nation, employs over 1,600 people and has a large retiree population.
Situation
The City was introducing two high deductible health plans. It was important that employees understand how the plans work and enroll in the plans
Solution
Buck collaborated with City and developed a special online digital magazine in addition to postcards, brochures, and guides that were mailed to home. To bring attention to the offerings we developed a new look and feel for all the materials. Inspired by an Americana theme the plans were named the Red, White, and Blue plans.
Results
Initially the high deductible plans were intended for active employees only. However, once retirees heard about the new plan options they wanted access to those plans as well. Within a few days we developed all new materials for retirees and exceeded the City’s goal of enrolling 50% of employees in the plans.
