Ensuring Accuracy
In coordination with WTW, Buck is leading an audit of the system-generated communications emailed and mailed to employees.
- The audit will help us better understand what communications are being sent out when… and why.
- We’ll look for opportunities to improve consistency in strategy, messaging, graphics, and format.
- Identify gaps in the process or messages.
- Improve process to provide ongoing updates.
Buck has been working with Amazon to launch Grand Rounds, and ensure their future communications are strategic and meaningful to employees.
- We developed a launch mailer that included a contact cling for employees in the 8 pilot states.
- Created a promotional table topper for Fulfillment Centers.
- Created other promotional materials for launch: digital screens, emails, InSTALLments, manager notes, A to Z Headlines, Inside Amazon Stories, and included information in OE brochures and on portal.
- Buck has been meeting with Grand Rounds to ensure their communications carry the Amazon tone, and use consistent, simplified language.
- We’re working to identify and catalog communications that Grand Rounds will take over from carriers.

Applying Plain Language
We fuse plain language with the Amazon tone to create easy-to-read content in a familiar voice to build trust and improve understanding.
- Continue to update existing materials and portal content using our plain language filter.
- Support efforts to break down complex benefit concepts into consumable key messages.
- Create appropriate-length videos to convey high-level information on important topics and to call employees to action.
Buck is looking at new and innovative ways to help you share information with employees.
- Augmented reality technology may provide ways to engage users with more interactive information.
- Increase use of personalization and data-driven messaging.
